Committees and Task Forces

In addition to re-opener talks, UTLA is working for improvements to your working conditions through the following committees and task forces:

Living Contract Committee

This joint UTLA – LAUSD committee can make tentative agreements (subject to UTLA ratification and District approval) on additional items not covered in contract re-opener talks.

Class Size Task Force

This joint UTLA-LAUSD committee will monitor current District class-size reduction obligations and make recommendations for further reductions and modifications. UTLA

Counselor Task Force

This joint UTLA-LAUSD task force will tackle issues that are particular to counselors, such as the lack of due process.
